La entrada de hoy está dedicada al proyecto de rehabilitación, reforma y ampliación del antiguo Ayuntamiento de Baeza, llevado a cabo por Viar Estudio Arquitectura.
La intervención parte de la reflexión sobre la condición temporal de la arquitectura. El edificio histórico es el resultado de un continuo proceso de cambio que da lugar a sucesivas superposiciones que transforman el edificio a lo largo del tiempo. La nueva actuación se plantea, por tanto, como un sustrato más.
El conjunto resultante se estructura en tres partes:
- Lo existente: destinado a la parte representativa y política.
- Lo nuevo: que contiene las oficinas, zonas comunes y atención al público.
- El vacío: nuevo espacio público, distribuidor y lugar de espera y estancia.
Today's post is dedicated to the restoration, reform and expansion project of the old Baeza Town hall, carried out by Viar Estudio Arquitectura.
The intervention rests on a reflection on the temporal process of architecture. Historical buildings are the result of a continuous process of change that produces successive overlays that transform the building over time. Therefore, the new design has been thought as an additional stratum.
The resulting building has been structured in three different part:
- The existing: the container of representative and political part.
- The new: the container of offices, common and customer service areas.
- The void: the container of a new public space, lobby and waiting area.
